MLB All Star Events: July 13 - 15, 2008 (Yankees Stadium NYC)


Because we are diehard Yankees fans we already have secured the entire strip of tickets to the MLB All Star Sunday on July 13 (XM All-Star Futures Game at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Legends and Celebrity Softball Game), All Star Monday on July 14 (Work out day and the Home Run Derby) and the actual All Star game on July 15. We hope to see you at the ballpark!

Summary of the weeks All Star events:

MLB All Star Game -Tuesday July 15
The main attraction and arguably the most exciting exhibition game in the world. Where else are you going to see Major League's greatest players all on the same field? The winner of this game will have home field advantage in the 2008 World Series, so you better believe this game counts!

MLB Home Run Derby and All-Star Workout-Monday July 14 The game's biggest sluggers crank out ball-after-ball into the stands until one pine-slinger stands alone as the Home-Run Champion. A true fan favorite; this is one event that you'll never forget!

All Star Sunday -Sunday July 13
(MLB Futures Game and Celebrity Softball Game)
The Futures Game showcases top minor league prospects in a United States-vs-The World exhibition game. Get a chance to see tomorrow's All Stars today!The Celebrity Softball Game is another fan favorite. It's an unpredictable show, with entertainers who wish they were athletes, and athletes who wish they were entertainers. Recent participants have included Jimmy Kimmel, Nick Lachey, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Bo Jackson, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg, Ozzie Smith and Don Mattingly.

MLB Fan Fest The largest interactive baseball fan event in the Nation. The MLB Fan Fest has over 50 interactive attractions including skills clinics, seminars, free autographs from Major League legends, live entertainment, a collector's showcase of memorabilia and much more. Held at the Jacob Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan.
